As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Tuscola Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday evening. Parker West took the loss for Clinton pitching 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, striking out 6, and walking 2. At the plate, the Maroons were led by Tyler West who when 1 for 3 with an RBI double and a walk. Logan Peterson went 2 for 4.
Lucas Kresin got the win for Tuscola pitching 6 and 2/3 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits, striking out 9, and walking 2. Kresin led Tuscola at the plate going 1 for 4 with an RBI. Ryan Bartley went 2 for 4.
With the loss, Clinton falls to 2-2 and 0-1 in the CIC. Tuscola improves to 3-1 and 1-0 in the conference. Clinton travels to Central A&M Thursday.
