Michael Oswald pitched a complete game four-hitter as the Clinton Maroons blanked Central A&M 11-0 in Central Illinois Conference boys baseball action Thursday afternoon in Moweaqua.
The Maroons jumped out 7-0 in the second. While never able to create enough separation to ten-run the Raiders, Clinton scored insurance runs in the fourth, sixth and two more in the seventh to extend their lead to 11-0.
Oswald struck out 11 across his seven shutout frames and allowed only four hits and zero walks.
Braden Cross led the Maroons offense going 2-for-4 with four runs batted in.
The Raiders drop to 0-2 in the CIC while Clinton evens their conference mark at 1-1 and 3-2 overall.
