The DeWitt County Sheriff's office has made two arrests in connection with the Armed Robbery of the Kenney Bank and Trust which occurred Wednesday morning.
25-year old Joseph M. Allspach and 32-year old Robert McKissick, both of Lake Fork, Illinois were arrested for Armed Robbery. Both appeared in court this morning, and bond was set at $500-thousand for each suspect.
Sheriff Shofner credits the cooperation between the Illinois State Police, the Illinois Secretary of State Police, the Clinton Police Department, and the Logan County Sheriff's Office in the apprehension of the suspects.
