Alvin “Al” J. Langenbahn, 88, of Lincoln passed away at 9:40 p.m. on Sunday August 5, 2012 at Christian Village, Lincoln. Visitation will be Friday, August 10 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. V.F.W. rites will be held at 7:00 p.m. following visitation. Services for Al will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lincoln with Rev. Andrew Nyren and Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. on Monday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. with full military rites accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, the V.F.W. #1756, Safe Haven Hospice or Christian Village of Lincoln.
