This week's Archers Alley "Catch of the Week" comes to us from Shaun Long, of Lincoln!

From Shaun: "At the end of September, we were out fishing on Powerton for big cats.  It was just getting dark, and not long before the lake closed for the night, when I landed my new PB on rod & reel!!   This big blue weighed in at 34 pounds, and put up a great fight!"

Shaun will join us this weekend to tell the story of this great catch!  Plus, he'll share how he just relatively recently got into chasing big catfish, and more!

This week's Archers Alley "Catch of the Week" comes to us from 10-year old Crawford Schnierle, of Bloomington!

From Crawford's dad, Ryan: "My son and a friend were out fishing a neighborhood pond in Bloomington, when Crawford caught one "hook" of a bass!"

Crawford now has a new personal best Largemouth!  He and Ryan will join us this weekend to tell the story of Crawford's new PB; talk fishing; and more!

This week's Archers Alley "Catch of the Week" comes to us from Jared Gibbs, of Chillicothe! 

Jared spends a lot of time fishing the Illinois River, and its backwaters.  These Bowfin are some of the better ones he's caught this summer.  These native Illinois fish are often mis-identified, and misunderstood, but have been swimming our waters for eons!  Jared will share the story of some of these catches, plus we'll talk river fishing, and much more!

This week's Archers Alley "Catch of the Week" comes to us from 10-year old Karson Massey, of Clinton!

From Karson's mom, Morgan:  "My 10-year old got a nice DeWitt County 8-point buck with her crossbow on opening weekend!!" 

It turns out that this is Karson's second buck, and the biggest so far!  Her dad, Brad, calls her "a hunting machine!"   Karson says she loves to hunt, and is still working toward a goal this season!

Karson, Morgan & Brad will join us to tell the story this weekend on Central Illinois Outdoors!
