Angus enthusiasts led 152 entries at the 2019 Central Illinois Angus Association Preview Show, June 2, in Bloomington, Ill. Kyle Conley, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, evaluated the nine bulls, 133 females, six steers and four cow-calf pairs.
Accent Advantage 1812 earned grand champion bull honors after first winning junior champion. Jonathan Taylor, Oakland, Ill., owns the March 2018 son of RB Absolute Advantage.
Dameron Northern Miss 8153 won grand champion female. Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., owns the May 2018 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B. She first won intermediate champion.
Top Line Proven Queen 8210 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning senior calf champion. Danielle Alberts, Atlanta, Ill., owns the September 2018 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303.
Decker Inauguration won grand champion steer. Lindsey Decker, Philo, Ill., owns the April 2018 son of PVF Inauguration 6174.
