Central Illinois CEO Students Visit Farm Progress Show

Central Illinois CEO, or "Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities", students attended Tuesday's Farm Progress Show in Decatur.

Students learned the importance of agriculture to the local economy, the investment in equipment and technology that a farmer has, and the newest innovations in the ag industry.

They also learned how companies attract farmers to their exhibits and displays.

With their facilitator Melanie Brown, these students stopped by the illinoisfarmradio.com broadcast booth inside the BASF Media Tent on the east end of Central Progress Avenue.  From the left:  Grace Coffey, Blue Ridge High School; Rachel Wisner, Maroa-Forsyth High School; and Alissa Crawford, Blue Ridge High School.

Another group of Central Illinois CEO students also attended today's Farm Progress Show.
