Central Illinois CEO Students Visit Farm Progress Show

Central Illinois CEO, or "Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities", students attended Tuesday's Farm Progress Show in Decatur.

Students learned the importance of agriculture to the local economy, the investment in equipment and technology that a farmer has, and the newest innovations in the ag industry.

Ag Day Attracts Big Crowds to Illinois State Fair Tuesday, August 17th

Perfect weather greeted big crowds that attended Tuesday's Agriculture Day at the Illinois State Fair.

The Commodities Pavilion across from the Grandstand was busy serving lunch to hundreds of fairgoers.  The Ribeye Corral sponsored by the Illinois Beef Association, served ribeyes, beef brisket and Italian Beef sandwiches, and their famous "pit-toatoes" which are smoked mini-potatoes.  They also offered a variety of drinks.

They'll be serving at the Fair thru this Sunday.

illinoisfarmradio.com broadcast an extended Noon Farm Show live from the Commodities Pavilion.    Local farm broadcaster Jared White and Randal J. Miller anchored the show.  Here's the complete program for you to enjoy:
