MOWEAQUA -- Mark Edward Wooten, 37 of Moweaqua, died February 17, 2016, in St. Charles, MO.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2016, in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00, prior to service time, also in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a college fund set up for his children at Shelby County State Bank.

Mark was born June 14, 1978, the son of Jerry and Norma (Mellenthin) Wooten. He married Lauren Napier September 1, 2012, in Moweaqua, IL. She survives.

Mark was a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua and UTU #768 of Decatur, IL. He was a Conductor for Norfolk Southern Railway Company and previously worked for UPS, as a supervisor, for 10 years. Most of all, Mark loved to spend time with his wife, children and family.

Surviving is his wife, Lauren; son, Cooper; daughter, Peyton and soon to be second son due in March; parents, Jerry and Norma Wooten of Decatur, IL; brother, Jim Wooten of Decatur, IL; sisters: Christine (Carl) Ginger of Decatur, IL, Connie (Dan) Callan of Stonington, IL and Regina Ann Watson of Bethalto, IL.; nieces and nephews: Marcus, Carl Jr., Casey, Tony, Keith, Sam and Gracie.

Preceding him in death is his brother, Jerry Dale Wooten, Jr. and grandparents.
