If you've got a child playing a winter sport at Clinton High School, put Friday, November 15 on the calendar.

Athletic Director at Clinton High School Matt Koeppel has announced at 6 pm next Friday, November 15, will be the annual meet the Maroons event. 

Admission will be either an unwrapped toy or a monetary donation to Kloe's Giving Heart Holiday Toy Drive. 

The Maroons start their season Tuesday, November 26 at the Bill Rucks Memorial Thanksgiving Tournament at Mt. Pulaski High School where they'll take on Edinburg. Their other opponents in the tournament will be Buffalo Tri-City and Delevan. 

The wrestling season opens at Dee-Mack Tuesday, December 3 with Dee-Mack and Beardstown.

The girl's basketball season opens with the Turkey Tussle November 18 at Clinton High School.
