Bloomington High School Football Looking to Added Depth, Athleticism to Propel Them in 2022

Coming off a disappointing 4-5 campaign in 2021, Bloomington High School is hoping its football team's collective athleticism will be the catalyst to success in 2022.

Coach Scott Godfrey felt his team had a couple of opportunities slip through the cracks in 2021. He says in the Big Twelve Conference, the margin for error is slim.

With a small senior class graduating and program numbers on the rise, Coach Godfrey looked to the summer workout time as an opportunity to find out what he'll be working with this year and get those student-athletes repetitions.

As the season gets started this week, Coach Godfrey is going to be emphasizing the little things that lead to success. But overall, he has several athletes that are standing out and he's looking forward to seeing the things they will do this year.

Coach Godfrey says the Big Twelve is going to be very balanced and tough in 2022.
