The Clinton Maroons boy's basketball team has secured the top overall seed in the upcoming Central Illinois Conference boy's basketball tournament at Decatur St. Teresa High School.

The Maroons open tournament play Saturday taking on Central A&M at 3 pm.

Shelbyville is the No. 4 seed and takes on Warrensburg-Latham at 4:30 pm following the Clinton/Central A&M matchup at 3 pm.

Second-seeded Tuscola will take on Sullivan at 6 pm followed by third-seeded Decatur St. Teresa and Meridan at 7:30 pm to finish off the opening day of the tournament.

The winner's bracket moves on for games on Tuesday at 6 pm and 7:30 pm and the consolation bracket plays Monday at 6 pm and 7:30 pm. 

The consolation championship game is Wednesday at 7:30 pm and the 3rd/4th place game is Friday at 6 pm and the tournament championship game is a 7:30 pm on Friday.
