Britni Walters scored 22 points leading Williamsville over Monticello 45-26 in non-conference high school girl's basketball action Tuesday night at the Sievers Center at Monticello High School.

It was senior night Tuesday for the winter sports programs. Cheerleading, boy's basketball, and girl's basketball senior players were recognized between a varsity double dip that saw the girl's fall to Williamsville before the boy's varsity game.

The Lady Bullets rebounded from a slow first quarter for both teams. It was 5-4 after the first but Williamsville outscored Monticello 22-9 to take a 27-13 lead into the break.

Monticello could not recover from there. Maia High led Monticello with six points. Jobi Smith and Lucy Leatherwood each added five points apiece.

Williamsville moves to 11-17. Monticello finishes the regular season 7-22.

It's off to Regional play Saturday afternoon at Tri-Valley in Regional quarterfinal action.
