HS BBBall: Williamsville Gets By Maroa-Forsyth

Williamsville was able to slow down Maroa-Forsyth in the second half and roll to a 59-36 win in Sangamo Conference boy's basketball action Tuesday night from Maroa. 

 

Ty Beck scored ten of his 10 of his team-high 14 points in the first half. Jake Seman scored eight of his 12 points in the second half. Colvin Fleck added ten for the Bullets who led 27-22 at the intermission but opened up a 46-27 lead after three, thanks to a 19-5 third quarter.

 

Kaiden Maurer was the only player to reach double figures for the Trojans with 13 points. Grant Smith scored nine and Mitch Williams added 7 for Maroa-Forsyth. 

 

The Bullets move to 19-6 overall and 5-1 in the Sangamo Conference. The win Tuesday snapped a two-game slide.

 

The Trojans are 13-14 on the season and go to 2-4 in the Sangamo. Maroa-Forsyth travels to Auburn Friday night.
