All dogs and cats must be vacinated for rabies and registered with the county. All dogs and cats at the clinic must be on a leash or in a carrier. Please bring proof of spay/neuter and prior vaccination records.

Join us for Family Discovery Day, March 11, 3601 Buckeye Drive, Springfield. Adults and youth age 12 and above are invited to attend this free day of classes and on-line experiences in searching for and finding their ancestors. Video classes from the February Rootstech Conference sponsored by Family Search in Salt Lake City, Utah will be shown, along with presentations from experienced researchers in the Central Illinois area. If you have ever wondered about the lives of your ancestors or how their experiences have shaped your life, now is a good time to begin your research. Registration is either on-line or at the door, beginning at 9:30 am. Classes continue until 3 pm. A free light lunch will be available. Preregistration at www.lds.org/familydiscoveryday

Two $1500 scholorships will be offered by the University Women of Chirstian County. Scholarships offered to female residents of Christian County who have completed on year of college work. Deadline for application is April 1, 2017. Applications may be obtained from the TAylorville Public Library, Taylorville office of Lincoln Land Community College and the Greater TAylorville Chamber of Commerce.
