(New York, NY) -- The NBA has cancelled the first two weeks of the regular season. NBA commissioner David Stern made the cancellation announcement on Monday evening after meeting with the players' association for several hours earlier in the day in a last-ditch effort to end the lockout and start the 2011 season on time.
