Are you a high school senior who is in 4-H?
If so, you have an opportunity to take advantage of a scholarship for your higher education. Sherry Fulton is the 4-H Youth Development Educator with the University of Illinois Extension offices in DeWitt, Macon, and Piatt Counties. She reminds seniors there is a $500 scholarship available to you through 4-H once again.

There are some things those who apply must do before they are awarded a scholarship. Fulton explains there are some 4-H requirements, the students must have three letters of recommendation and they also must go through an interview.

Fulton feels the interview process is a good learning experience for those students who apply. She says the committee who the students interview with are volunteer 4-H Foundation Board Members.
