Governor Quinn wants to add 100-thousand people to the Medicaid program but State Senator Dale Righter says that could be big trouble for program recipients.

Righter says it costs the state 25-hundred dollars per adult, per year. Add 100-thousand more people and you boost the state's liability by about 150-million dollars. Righter is urging Governor Quinn to stop expanding the program and submit waivers to the federal government so the reforms they already passed can be implemented.
