As heard on 95.9 WEZC, the Monticello Sages beat the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans by a score of 75-72 at Maroa-Forsyth Highschool. Ryan Donahue led the Sages with 24 points.  Nick Stokowski helped out with 22 and Daily O'Brien with 16. Monticello shot 31 of 40 at the free throw line. There were 5 guys in double-figures for the Trojans- Jack Hockaday with 11, Aaron Smith with 12, Logan Stelzriede with 16, Zach Murphy with 12 and Drew Aschermann with 10.  The Sages improve to 7-3 in the Okaw Valley Conference and 14-11 overall.  Forsyth drops to 16-11 on the season and 5-5 in conference play.  The Sages JV team lost 56-48 to the Trojans. Tune in Friday at 7 as the Sages play their final regular season game against the Warrensburg Cardinals.
