Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 8:12 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, revealed that a vehicle driven by Randall Dupin, 59, Waynesville, was traveling eastbound on County Highway 9/Waynesville Road when he went onto the right shoulder, and swerved back onto the road. He swerved again to the right and slid into the right ditch, striking a culvert, causing the unit to be airborne and roll. Dupin was ejected and deceased at the scene. Passenger Michael Dupin, 35, McLean was transported by Ambulance to Bromenn Hospital in Normal. The vehicle was towed from the scene

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, revealed that a vehicle driven by Daniel Gamache, 43, Clinton, traveling northbound on US Highway 51 from Decatur. After feeling “sleepy” Gamache swerved to the left to avoid a car, causing him to cross both lanes of travel and enter the east ditch. After EMS evaluation, Gamache was issued citations and released from the scene.

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 09:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 04, revealed that a vehicle driven by Benjamin Dial, 16, Maroa was traveling southbound on Paintball Road. Unit 2 driven by Jeremy Roberts, 22, Kenney, was parked facing north on Paintball Road. Dial’s drivers side panel struck the front driver’s side door of Roberts vehicle, causing damage to the door of Roberts vehicle. No injuries were reported and the vehicles were driven from the scene.

Tyler Barger, 27, Champaign, was issued citations for Operating Uninsured Vehicle and Speeding (72 mph in a 55 mph zone). Barger posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Kathleen Head, 70, Lincoln, was issued a citation for Speeding (74 mph in a 55 mph zone). Head posted the necessary bond and was released.

Charles Monkman, 24, Clinton, was issued a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Monkman posted the necessary bond and was released.

Tabitha Lessman, 25, Normal, was issued a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Lessman posted her IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Matthew Bryant, 26, LeRoy, was issued a citation for Speeding (59 mph in a 45 mph zone). Bryant posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Danny Mattocks Jr, 24, Bloomington, was issued a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Mattocks posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Jennifer Carter, 30, Clinton, was issued a citation for Speeding (80 mph in a 55 mph zone). Carter posted her IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Cody Moody, 24, Clinton, was issued a citation for Speeding (92 mph in a 55 mph zone). Moody posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Stephanie Crum, 20, Clinton, was issued a citation for Speeding (74 mph in a 55 mph zone). Crum posted her IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Mark Herriott, 62, Champaign, was issued a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Herriott posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

Jose Contreras, 33, Clinton, was issued citations for No Valid Drivers License, No Registration Light, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under Influence. Contreras being unable to post the necessary bond, remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Matthew Lareau, 24, Clinton, was issued citations for Driving Under Influence and Failure To Signal When Required. Lareau being unable to post the necessary bond, remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Damon Leininger, 34, Mason City, was issued a citation for Illegal Transportation Alcohol. Leininger was issued a notice to appear and was released.

Leonard Harmon, 43, Beason, was issued citations for Improper Lane Usage, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, Illegal Transportation Alcohol, Driving Under Influence and Driving While License Revoked. Harmon being unable to post the necessary bond remains lodged in the DeWitt County Jail.

Zachary Corman, 17, Decatur, was issued a citation for Speeding (72 mph in a 55 mph zone). Corman was issued a notice to appear and was released.

Brandan Brough, 17 Clinton, was issued a citation for Operating Uninsured Vehicle. Brough was issued a notice to appear and was released.

ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL FOUND GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
