Marshall Sprague went the distance on the mound Wednesday afternoon as a 10-run fifth inning propelled the Maroons to a 5-inning 13-1 Okaw Valley Conferendce win over the Tolono-Uity Rockets.

Gregg Osgood, Josh Merrick and Zach Pate each recorded a pair of hits, Pate had three RBIs and crossed the plate three times. Merrick and Evan Stevens each plated a pair as well. Nate Ennis, Merrick and Osgood each scored twice.

Sprague threw five innings, giving up one-run on three hits, walking no one and striking out seven to pick up the win for the Maroons.

Clinton is now 15-11 and 4-4 in Okaw play and Tolono is now 15-5 and 5-2 in the conference.
