Country music superstar Aaron Tippin is going to hunt turkeys in Illinois this week.  Fred Cory, with the Mississippi Valley Council of the Boys Scouts of America, says Tippin is an avid outdoorsman.

Tippin will be speaking at an annual Boy Scouts fundraiser and according to Event Coordinator Fred Cory, he may participate in a few outdoor activities.

Tippin is making a special stop in Nebo, Illinois as the featured speaker at the Oakley-Lindsay Foundation Sporting Clays for Scouting on Wednesday.  He's expected to perform one song at the semi-private boy scouts event.  It's the 13th year for the fundraising event.  They've had NASCAR champions, pro-bowl NFL players, and Olympic medalists attend the event in the past.
