Students heading to Illinois State University this fall could be paying more than current students. The university's Board of Trustees wants to up tuition by four-point-four percent. In-state students would pay 335 dollars per credit hour, while out-of-state students would pay five hundred-78. They're also looking at boosting residence hall rates by three percent. University officials say the increase is needed to keep up with the economy. They'll talk about the proposals in a meeting this Friday.
