James Loney was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI for Los Angeles, which has won two in-a-row. Kenley Jansen blew the save after giving up a solo shot to Lance Berkman in the top of the ninth, but he earned the win, improving to 3-and-0. Matt Holliday drilled a two-run home run for St. Louis, which has lost two straight. Fernando Salas suffered the loss out of the bullpen.
