>>Briscoe Clips Hinchcliffe For Indy 500 Pole

(Speedway, IN)  --  Ryan Briscoe beat James Hinchcliffe by the slimmest of margins to win the pole position for the 96th running of the Indianapolis 500.  Briscoe's margin over Hinchcliffe was 0.0023 seconds, making it the closest 1-2 qualifying finish in race history.  It's the fifth straight pole for Team Penske in as many races this season.  The 500-mile race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the first oval event of the season.  A total of 24 drivers secured a starting position for the race on Saturday.

>>Field Of 33 Set After Sunday's Bump Day

(Speedway, IN)  --  The field is set for the Indianapolis 500.  All 33 drivers qualified for the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" during Sunday's Bump Day.  On Saturday, Ryan Briscoe won the pole for the 96th running of the Indy 500, which is slated for Sunday, May 27th.  Jean Alesi qualified in 33rd, but Charlie Kimball crashed during a practice lap after qualifying 14th and will have to start at the back of the field if a backup car is required.

>>Johnson Claims Third All-Star Victory

(Concord, NC)  --  Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race for the third time in his illustrious career on Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  The five-time Sprint Cup Series champion won the first 20-lap segment in the 90-lap event.  Brad Keselowski finished second followed by Matt Kenseth, while pole sitter Kyle Busch came in fourth and Dale Earnhardt Jr rounded out the top-five.  With the victory, Johnson claims a one-million-dollar prize.  No Sprint Cup points were at stake during the race.
