The New Jersey Devils are a win away from the Stanley Cup Final.  The Devils skated to a 5-3 road win over the New York Rangers in Game Five of the Eastern Conference finals Wednesday night.  The Devils grabbed a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven set with the victory.  New Jersey can put the top-seeded Rangers away with a home win Friday night.  The winner of this series will face the Los Angeles Kings for the right to hoist the Stanley Cup.

(Philadelphia, PA)  --  The Philadelphia 76ers have forced a decisive Game Seven in their semifinal series with the Boston Celtics.  The Sixers avoided elimination with an 82-75 home win over the Celtics in Game Six Wednesday night.  No team has won consecutive games in the hard-fought series.  Boston will host Game Seven on Saturday.
