Bulls, Pacers Tip Season Off Tonight; Granger Out

>>Bulls Tip Against Kings Tonight

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Bulls get their regular season underway tonight when they tip off at United Center against the Sacramento Kings.  Chicago was 5-and-2 in the preseason, which wrapped up late last week.  The Bulls play at Cleveland Friday before returning home Saturday to host New Orleans.

(Chicago, IL)  --  The Bulls announced yesterday they have exercised the third-year option for swingman Jimmy Butler.  The move will keep Butler with Chicago through the 2013-14 season.  Butler played in 42 games in his rookie season last year after being selected 30th overall.

>>Knee To Sideline Pacers' Granger Indefinitely

(Indianapolis, IN)  --  The Pacers will start the season without leading scorer Danny Granger [[ GRAIN-jer ]].  The team announced the forward is out indefinitely with soreness in his left knee.  He injured a tendon in the knee during the playoffs last season and tweaked it again during off-season workouts.

>>Pacers Set To Tip In Toronto

(Toronto, Ontario)  --  The Pacers will tip off the regular season tonight in Toronto against the Raptors.  Indiana was 4-and-3 in the preseason, which finished last week.  The Pacers remain on the road Friday at Charlotte before returning home Saturday to host the Sacramento Kings.
