The 'Hawks have posted at least one point in 16 straight games to open the season, tying Anaheim's record set in 2006-07. They beat Vancouver 4-3 in a shootout on Tuesday to match the record. A win on Friday over the San Jose Sharks would put the 'Hawks in the history books. Chicago is currently 13-0-and-3. The Ducks started the 2006-07 season 12-0-and-4 and went on to win the Stanley Cup.

(Denver, CO) -- David Jones scored the game-winning goal with 17 seconds left in overtime, leading Colorado to a 1-0 win over St. Louis. Semyon Varlamov saved all 33 shots he faced for his 10th-career shutout. The Avalanche won its second straight game to go to 6-7-and-1. Jaroslav Halak registered 19 saves for the Blues. St. Louis was shut out for the first time this season and dropped to 9-6-and-1.
