That's Lieutenant Eric Hansell with the Jacksonville Police Department. He says the state's Safe Haven Law allows parents to leave kids up to 30 days old with police, fire, or medical officials, with no questions asked, so long as the baby has not been abused. The law has been on the books since 2001 and nearly 100 babies have been turned over safely since then.
