(Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) -- Rory McIlroy is the PGA Tour Player of the Year. The 25-year-old won three times on the PGA Tour this year, including major titles at the British Open and PGA Championship. Tour members who played in at least 15 official money events this past season were eligible to vote. Chesson Hadley was named the Tour's Rookie of the Year. The 27-year-old won the Puerto Rico Open in March and also recorded three top-10 finishes this past season.
