Tower climbers moved the transmitting antennas for WHOW's 92-point-3 FM signal, up the station's tower some 80 feet on Wednesday, after the Federal Communications Commission approved the change earlier this year.

The antennas are now mounted some 280 feet above ground on the WHOW-WEZC tower, giving the 92-point-3 FM signal greater coverage of DeWitt County and surrounding area with its 250 watts of power.

The work also included replacement of existing transmission cable for the 92-point-3 signal.

The 92-point-3 FM signal simulcasts all of WHOW programming, including local news, agriculture programming, and Clinton High School sports.

WHOW's programming is also streamed 24/7 at dewittdailynews.com.
