Illinois' unemployment rate is down. Greg Rivara with the state Department of Employment Security says the November jobless rate reflects a state economy that continues to move forward.

Rivara adds there was some job growth last month as well.

About 23-hundred jobs were added last month in Illinois. The biggest gains were seen in the manufacturing, construction and leisure and hospitality industries. The national unemployment rate for November came in at five-point-eight percent.
