Renovations on what has become known as the "East Annex" in DeWitt County will soon be the home for Animal Control of DeWitt County.

County Board Chair David Newberg explains they have purchased a stainless steel operating table as well as kennels to be put in place.

The marina project at Clinton Lake is nearing completion. At the start of the year, the County faced a daunting task to bring the marina up to compliance with the American Disabilities Act, and Newberg indicates, next month, all those will be completed.

Newberg indicates there is not a firm timeline for a move in date for the Animal Control office to the new building but remains hopeful that will happen prior to the new year.
