Clinton Woman's Death Under Investigation

 width=The Illinois State Police with the cooperation of the Clinton Police Department are investigating the death of 32-year old Christina Godinet of Clinton.

At approximately 10:15 am Friday, first responders were called to 1700 East Main Street. Upon arrival, Godinet was found unresponsive.

Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers (right) indicated to Regional Radio News the investigation has been handed over to the State Police because of "extraordinary circumstances".

Messages to the State Police were unreturned.

32-year old Josh Dubson made the call to 9-1-1 and was arrested on misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia charges.

DeWitt County Coronor Randy Rice tells Regional Radio News that autopsy results have not been released as of Tuesday afternoon.  He also notes the toxicology results in the investigation are not expected to be available for another four weeks.
