There's a less than stellar review for President Obama's Oval Office speech on the ISIS threat from Congressman Rodney Davis.
The Taylorville Republican had hoped to hear of a stronger, more comprehensive strategy to defeat ISIS. Davis says a greater dual approach aimed at destroying them abroad while protecting Americans at home needs to be pursued. He fears the President's lame duck status doesn't help matters.

The House has passed legislation that Davis says is deisgned to prevent ISIS from infiltrating the Syrian and Iraqi refugee program. Last month, the House passed the American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act to ensure comprehensive background checks are conducted on every Syrian and Iraqi refugee seeking admittance into the U.S.
