Monticello Board of Education Expected Approve New Referendum for New High School

width=The Monticello Board of Education is expected to approve a referendum to be on the spring ballot for a new high school, this time with a location and cost analysis.

That's according to Dr. Vic Zimmerman (right), Superintendent of Monticello Schools. He explains the Board meets tonight in what should be a culmination of a lot of work since last November, when an initial proposal to the taxpayers failed.

A lot of analysis and thought and discussion has gone in to come up with better details for the voters. Dr. Zimmerman says location and cost were the two biggest concerns coming away from the failed referendum last year.
