Chip Kelly Visits With Alabama

width=Chip Kelly is no longer employed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Since Kelly was wildly successful in college football (46-7 record as Oregon's coach over four seasons with three top-five finishes), there is a belief that he might return to the college game.

Therefore, any connection between Kelly and a college football program is going to generate interest, especially when it's the Crimson Tide. According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, Kelly visited with Alabama's coaching staff in Tuscaloosa earlier this week.

What does it mean? Probably that Kelly enjoys spending time with other football coaches and exchanging ideas. It's something that Kelly has done throughout his time as a coach and right now there are few places with more highly regarded staffs than the one Nick Saban has assembled in Tuscaloosa.
