Clinton Maroons Fall to Shelbyville

In a game heard Friday night on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Shelbyville Rams by a score of 26-0. The Maroons were led by Senior Quarterback Noah Griffin who was 11 of 17 passing for 82 yards and two interceptions. The team rushing total was 21 carries for 24 yards. The Country Financial representative Stephan York Maroons Player of the Game was junior Bryson Carson. Carson had a sack and was one of the leading tacklers.

 

Shelbyville was led by Turner Pullen who had 18 carries for 143 yards, two touchdowns, and was 12 of 26 passing for 156 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

 

Clinton falls to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the Central Illinois Conference. Shelbyville improves to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in the CIC.
