After the first win in the Nick Blackburn coaching era at Clinton High School over Braidwood Reed-Custer 19-7, the Maroons hit the road to Tuscola tonight for the Central Illinois Conference opener.
Blackburn says the Warriors mix things up offensively and have a lot of size up front, including 6-foot-6 lineman, Hunter Woodward who is committed to Oklahoma State University as a three-star recruit.
The Warriors are 2-0 on the season having scored 91 points through their first two matchups.
Clinton enters action 1-1.
