Raiders Down Maroons 66-47

The Central A&M Raiders started on an 8-0 run and never looked back in a 67-44
victory over the Clinton Maroons Friday night. Maroons coach Clay Haurberg says
turnovers were the difference in the contest and the Maroons were never able to cut
the lead below 12 points.

The Maroons were led in scoring by junior Zeke Hickman in 12 points. Senior Cal
Case added 10 points in the loss.

Three scorers finished in double figures for the Raiders, including Griffin Andricks with
a game-high 24 points and a perfect 4-4 from the three-point line. Connor Heaton
added 21.

With the loss, the Maroons fall to 6-12 and 0-2 in CIC play. The Raiders improve to
16-3 (2-0).

The Maroons are in action on WHOW and dewittdailynews.com
Friday night at 7:30 PM when they take on Sullivan.
