The Argenta-Oreana football program is looking to build on an appearance in the Class 2A playoff semifinals as they enter 2019.

Head Coach Steve Kirk says his team has a lot to replace upfront but doesn't view that as a negative. The Bombers have had a lot of competition to find those replacements.

As the Bombers get closer to game action next Friday night, Coach Kirk wants his team to continue to improve. He says to find that progress, they do a lot of studying of individuals during practices and that shows them a lot.

The Bombers open the season at home against Arcola. Coach Kirk says that is going to be a great challenge for them right out of the gate as he feels Arcola may be one of the top teams in the new Lincoln Prairie Conference.
