The Illinois State baseball team dropped the series finale at No. 17 Oklahoma State, 6-0, on Sunday at O'Brate Stadium. It completed a weekend sweep for the Cowboys.
Fourth-year junior Colin Wyman recorded two scoreless innings with three strikeouts for Illinois State (2-3 overall).
Second-year freshman Cameron Mabee also recorded a clean inning in relief and fifth-year seniors Joe Butler and Jordan Libman each had a pair of singles.
The Cowboys (6-0 overall) hit three home runs and had six players with at least one hit and a run scored.
The Redbirds had their lead-off batter reach base in each of the first three innings and had baserunners in every inning except for the 8th inning but never scored.
Illinois State is scheduled for a four-game series at SEMO over March 5-7.
