The Monticello Sages remained steady at No. 4 in the latest Class 3A state high school football rankings.
In fact, the rest of 3A remained the same 1-9 with Williamsville, Princeton and Wilmington receiving votes in the top-3. Byron checked in at No. 5. The Illini Prairie Conference was also represented with Tolono Unity at No. 8. Farmington was new to this week's rankings at No. 10.
Maroa-Forsyth remains No. 1 in Class 2A, though Quincy Notre Dame received six first-place votes to the Trojans' two.
Decatur St. Teresa is No. 4 in 2A. Downs Tri-Valley received votes but did not appear in the rankings.
In Class 1A, Central A&M is No. 4
Rochester is No. 1 in Class 4A. Effingham comes in at No. 4 and Mt. Zion moved up to No. 8 in this week's poll. Prairie Central received votes but did not appear in the top 10.
Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin is No. 1 in 5A after its big win over Rochester on Friday.
Peoria Central holds at No. 7 in this week's 6A poll. Chatham-Glenwood and Normal West received votes but did not make the top-10.
