IHSA Releases Regional Seedings for Baseball, Softball Postseason

The Clinton Maroon's boy's baseball team has received the ninth seed in the Decatur Millikin Super-Sectional as the IHSA announced seedings for the upcoming boy's baseball and girl's softball postseasons.

 

The Lady Maroons softball team is also the ninth seed in the Millikin Super-Sectional. 

 

The Monticello Lady Sages received the fifth seed in the sub-sectional of the Decatur Millikin Super-Sectional. Maroa-Forsyth is the fourth seed in the same sub-sectional. Tuscola is the top seed. 


Bloomington Central Catholic received the top-seed in their sub-sectional of the Decatur Millikin Super-Sectional. Tri-Valley is the fifth seed in that sub-sectional. 

 

In boy's baseball postseason seeding, Maroa-Forsyth is the top seed of the sub-sectional with Clinton, while Monticello is the fifth seed and Tri-Valley is the eighth seed.

 

In Class 1A, Mt. Pulaski is a sub-sectional top seed of the Normal ISU Super-Sectional. In the Hilltoppers sub-sectional, LeRoy is the two seed, Warrensburg-Latham is the three seed, Decatur St. Teresa is the fourth seed, Decatur LSA the ffifth seed, Fisher the sixth seed, Heyworth is the seventh seed, Argenta-Oreana is the eighth seed, Blue Ridge the ninth seed and Cerro Gordo-Bement is the tenth seed. 

 

Baseball and softball regionals will be played at the higher seed's home field as a part of the pandemic altered 2021 season.
