The Illinois State Redbirds and Eastern Illinois Panthers football teams are on bye this week.

EIU lost 22-6 in a non-conference tilt with Murray State last Saturday while the Redbirds were rolled 41-20 by Missouri State at home. 

When they return to action next Saturday, ISU hots North Dakota State for Homecoming while will host UT-Martin for its Hall of Fame weekend.
