The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans used a slow start by Williamsville to create early separation and never looked back rolling to a 65-45 win in Sangamo Conference boy's basketball action Tuesday night from Maroa-Forsyth High School.
Kaiden Maurer paced four Trojans in double figures with 23 points and proportionate scoring throughout the game kept Maroa-Forsyth right to the end.
The Trojans opened up a 29-20 lead at the intermission. Egan Franzen scored eight of his 14 points in the third quarter, Zayn Giles scored eight of his ten in the first half and Jaxson Grubbs scored seven of his ten in the final frame.
Maroa-Forsyth improves to 11-5 overall and 2-0 in the Sangamo. They're back at home Friday night for another conference tilt with Auburn in town.
