Lady Maroons Down Hawks

In a game heard Monday night on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons downed the Meridian Hawks, 58-15.

 

Clinton jumped out to a 17-2 first quarter lead, and never looked back.  The Maroons defense held the Hawks without a field goal in both the first and fourth quarters. 

 

It was Senior Night for the Lady Maroons, and they were paced by their three seniors. Mallory Cyrulik led the way with 21, including 7 of 12 shooting from the line.  Kaitlin Rauch added 17, including four 3-pointers. Kylie Raymer added 6 with two three's of her own.  All three seniors were named Co-Serv Pro of Piatt & Dewitt Counties Players of the Game. 
 

Meridian was led by Aleita Hale with 7.  The Hawks fall to 8-18 overall, and 0-6 in conference. 
 

Clinton improves to 25-5 on the season, and 6-0 in the CIC.  They travel to Warrensburg Thursday night to wrap up the regular season.  The Lady Maroons will next be heard on WHOW

next Tuesday night at 7:30 in a regional semi at Clinton High School. Be listening for details.
