HS Baseball: Delavan Rolls Mt. Pulaski

Landon Horning was a triple shy of the cycle as he and and Cole Noreuil hit home runs to pace the Delavan Panthers past Mt. Pulaski 15-0 in Tomahawk Conference high school boy's baseball Thursday at a wet, cold, and windy Mt. Pulaski.

Horning was 3-for-3 with a home run, double and drove in two while scoring twice. Caleb Harper and Bryce Bell finished 2-for-3. Harper and Noreuil each drove in a pair while Bell drove in one.

Jack Pagel finished 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and runs scored for the Panthers who improve to 4-1 overall.

For the Hilltoppers, it was their second straight loss as they mustered just three hits and committed three errors.

Evan Cooper, Lucas Aylesworth, and Liam Smith accounted for the hits for Mt. Pulaski.

The Hilltoppers fall to 6-2 overall and are 1-1 in the Tomahawk.

They will travel to take on Decatur MacArthur Saturday morning with five games on its slate for next week.
