The Illinois State baseball team dropped the series finale to Valparaiso, 2-1, on Sunday at Duffy Bass Field.
Sophomore Jordan Lussier threw six innings, allowing two earned runs for the Redbirds (13-17 overall, 2-4 Missouri Valley Conference) while senior Colin Wyman fired 2.2 scoreless innings in relief.
A double from senior Nick Gile plated ISU's only run in the 6th inning, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
