The Monticello volleyball program is hoping to get itself on a roll in the next few weeks with the postseason just around the corner.
The Lady Sages entering action this week were 7-15 but volleyball coach Kim Allison likes the team she has this year and feels they have a good balance of experience and youth and has seen so much growth with the team.
According to Coach Allison, the talent of her team is even across the board and so she feels if one player is not having her best game, there's another player ready to pick them up.
Coach Allison indicates, last week the Lady Sages found out they are seeded tenth in the Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond Regional. They will take on Sullivan a week from Monday, Sept. 24 in Regional quarterfinal action.
Last season, the Lady Sages were able to rally their way to a Regional Championship and Coach Allison and her players are hoping for an encore of that again this fall.
